We've had a really nice weekend. Paul's sister, Marie, and her husband, Brian, came down Friday night and watched Gemma during the day yesterday so that Paul and I could have a belated anniversary celebration. On October 18th, we were married for 4 wonderful years, and I look forward to many, many, many more. Paul and I took in a matinee at the cinema, did some shopping, then had an early dinner. It was a great day!
Today, Marie and Brian headed out this morning. After Gemma's nice, long late am/early pm nap in her Moses basket, the three of us took a walk on this beautiful autumn day to a nearby restaurant, where Paul and I got a late lunch. We walked home, got to Skype with auntie Margo, uncle Justin, and cousin Freya, and spent the rest of the day catching up on laundry and other things around the house.
I'm just about to lay Gemma down into her Moses basket for the night, and I am so thankful for a great weekend with my family!
