Photo Catch-Up

Here are some photos from the past few weeks!  Also, here's what we've been up to other than trying to deal with reflux!
-  Gemma had her 6 week appointment with the doctor on Friday, September 21st.  She weighed 10 pounds, 2 ounces, and was 22 inches long.
-  On Sunday, September 23rd, Mayo played in the All-Ireland Gaelic Football final.  Paul's mom came up to take care of Gemma so that we could both go to the match.  Unfortunately they lost :(
-  We went to the American Embassy on Wednesday, September 26th to register Gemma's birth and apply for her American passport and Social Security card.
-  Also on September 26th, Gemma had her first meaningful smile (not just gas!).  It melts my heart to see it every time!
-  Last weekend we booked our plane tickets to come to MN!  Gemma and I arrive November 16th, Paul will arrive December 19th, and we will all fly out on December 26th.  Can't wait to introduce Gemma to all of her American family and friends!
-  Gemma is getting stronger all the time.  She can hold her head up on her own for awhile while being held upright and can push herself up a bit on her arms.
-  Yesterday I discovered that Starbucks here has pumpkin spice lattes!  This is the first year they've had them and is just what this tired mom needs!

September 16th
Gemma has spent a lot of time in her carrier (the Stokke MyCarrier- love it!), as it keeps her upright and lets me get bottles washed and laundry done!

September 21st
Trying to get a picture for Gemma's passport!  In the end, none of the ones that I took worked and we had them taken at a pharmacy near the embassy.

Do you like my hat?

October 2nd
One of the days she was happy to lay on her play mat.  Her booties look huge, but they keep her socks on!

Don't I look good in green?  My friend Piper  shared this with me!
