We spent the day doing some swimming, Gemma spent time in the Kid's Club, we played bingo, and it was Pirate Night! After dinner and the nightly show (JunNk- a specialty percussion group that Gemma really enjoyed), there was a Pirate Party on deck, including a fireworks display!

Mediterranean Disney Cruise- Day 6
On Thursday, September 15th, we were supposed to stop in Villefranche, France (near Cannes, Nice, and Monaco). This port required tendering (smaller boats coming out to the ship to take people to shore), and unfortunately the sea was too rough to do the tendering process that day. So, this day became a sea day, and we sailed on to Marseille, France the following day.
Mediterranean Disney Cruise- Day 5
Wednesday the 14th of September was a stop in Livorno, Italy (near Pisa), and we booked a 'Port Adventure' through the cruise to Cinque Terre. Cinque Terre is a UNESCO World Heritage Site comprising 5 centuries-old seaside villages on the rugged Italian Riviera coastline. We took a bus to La Spezia, where we boarded a boat. We saw the first three villages (Riomaggiore, Corniglia, and Manarola) from the boat. We made a quick stop and got off to explore in the 4th village, Vernazza, and we had a longer stop and lunch in the 5th village, Monterosso. These villages are beautiful, and it was amazing to see them!
When we got back to the ship we got ready for dinner (where we got some great hats made by our waiter), saw some characters, and took in 'Tangled The Musical' in the theatre. Gemma was SOOO excited to see this show!
Mediterranean Disney Cruise- Day 4
Tuesday the 13th of September was a stop in Civitavecchia, the port of Rome. We decided to stay on the ship, as it was an hour by train into Rome, Paul and I have been there before, and it's really not a place a 4 year old would appreciate! We practically had the ship to ourselves!
We spent the day swimming, Gemma and I saw 'Finding Dory' in the cinema, and Paul and I spent some time at the adults only pool area while Gemma was in the Kid's Club. That day was also the 'Frozen' themed day, so we went to a Maypole dance celebration and after dinner, a Frozen sing-along/dance party!

Mediterranean Disney Cruise- Day 3
Monday the 12th of September was a stop in Naples, Italy. We decided to visit Capri and got the ferry there- about a 45 minute journey.
Once there, we got a taxi from the pier area up to the main town at the top of the hill.
At the top we enjoyed some gelato at a cafe, wandered the narrow, winding streets lined with designer shops, then got the funicular back down to the pier.
We got the ferry back to Naples, got back on the ship, and spent the rest of the afternoon relaxing onboard. We had dinner that night in the more casual, Cabana's restaurant, with a view of the Naples port, then went to a ventriloquist/comedy show in one of the smaller venues that night. Gemma even got to be part of the pre show entertainment!
Gemma loved going back to the stateroom each night to see what creation was waiting for us!
