A few weeks ago we decided to get tickets for Disney on Ice, which was near Dublin on Friday, April 10th. We told Gemma about it and showed her an advertisement for it on YouTube. Well, she had to watch the ad about a million times before we actually went, and she kept calling it 'the other cinema'. One night I was getting her ready for bed, and she said, 'it's the celebration of the century, do you have your tickets?' (which is a line in the ad)!
The day came, and she was SUPER excited!
She clapped and cheered like crazy during almost all of it, but when the 'Frozen' part started I nearly thought she was going to jump through the roof! It was so much fun to see her reaction!
Since the show ran into nap time, we decided to just keep active for the day to avoid an opportunity to get cranky with no nap! Paul had to go back to work (I took the day off), so Gemma and I went to Liffey Valley for a late lunch and a spin on the train.
And, for the rest of the afternoon we had fun at a nearby park!
